I'll look around and experiment, but if anyone knows anything else PLEASE POST. This saves some extra work of converting HDMI to composite like they were talking about in the video. The best thing though, is that HDMI is now supported on the latest HD PVR 2: Gamers Edition. I mean, it's advertised as no monitor lag, so I shouldn't have to put out the extra bucks and work to fix Hauppage's problem. The last video is exactly what I thought of doing, but haven't done yet. Start Watching around 19 min and it ends around 21-22! Its a more expensive way but does the trick apparently. HD PVR 2 (all models), Colossus 2, HD PVR Rocket, HD PVR Pro 60, HD PVR 60, HD PVR model 1212, Colossus. Here is a video that i found talking about screen lag and how to fix it. I use a Avermedia C821 and the quality is just as good as the hauppauge,Įdit*- If its only when you record it's most likely the recording settings.Ĭheck out some different settings that might help!Įdit2*-Okay sorry for so many edits but trying to help I agree To use a splitter, that's your best bet. But I'd like to avoid buying more cables and making my wire jumble even worse. The only possible solution I thought of is to purchase an HDMI splitter to split the HDMI signal prior to the HD PVR and send one HDMI cable directly to the TV and the other to the HD PVR then to my PC. At the moment, this is impossible to play while recording/livestreaming/anything. I'd love to hear any idea's you guys have. If anyone has one of these, or is good with things like this feel free to leave a reply. The product is advertised as "no delay passthrough" which I find to be a complete false statement. Perhaps one of the most useful aspects of the machine is its support for. The TV screen lag is about the same as the PC screen lag. Set-up itself is a breeze - plug in the 6v power supply, connect the HDMI output to the screen, then attach your consoles. Then of course, the HD PVR hooks up to my PC/laptop. The screen/xbox reacts about a second or 2 after I move on my controller. There is a delay between the HDMI IN port and the HDMI OUT port. The problem is, I hooked it all up and my screen lags. This allows for 1080p recording with simplicity. This uses HDMI cables to record the screens instead of the composite cables that were required before. So recently I bought the newest edition of the HD-PVR: Gaming Edition.
